Cheryl Cole may be Girls Aloud’s top earner, but Nicola Roberts looks set to beat her to a catwalk career.
London Fashion Week has seen the pint-sized firecracker hobnobbing with the likes of Eva Herzigova, 36, Alexa Chung, 25, and Erin O’Connor, 31. And her quirky style plus a front row seat at top shows including Mulberry and Vivienne Westwood have really got her noticed.
With eye-popping clobber, including this boob-flashing see-though jumpsuit, left, Nic, 23, has even won compliments from supermodel Naomi Campbell. The pair rubbed shoulders during the SHOWStudio exhibition at Somerset House and Naomi, 39, was struck by her unique look.
And when event organisers told her the redhead was a pop star, rather than a runway-strutting model, she looked aghast.
Naomi said: “She has a really stunning look and is completely at ease with her natural beauty.”
While pretty Nic is wowing fashionistas, her boyfriend Charlie Fennell isn’t so taken with the fashion world. He prefers to sink cocktails at the May Fair hotel rather than rocking the swanky bashes.
But her girl mates are over the moon she’s wowed the catwalk set.
One told us: “Nic has always stood out in the band, but for the wrong reasons. Finally her looks are paying off.”
Chris Moyles, 35 – who once called her the “ugly, ginger one” – will be laughing on the other side of his face as Nicola struts her fine self on the catwalk…

A Nicola fan, Anthony, met Nicola this weekend whilst staying in London and asked her a question we all want to know, when will her Dainty Doll makeup range be relaunched?
Well we have the answer! Nicola answered Anthony and has revealed it will be relaunched in March 2010, with a possible signing!!

In what will be a surprise to most Girls Aloud, the usually retiring member of the group, Nicola Roberts, shed her demure image to sport a daring see-through top.
The 24-year-old singer was attending the 30 Days of Fashion And Beauty Gala Party and all eyes were on her brave choice of outfit.
Nicola’s get-up consisted of a pair of velvet trousers, heels and a top that left very little to the imagination.
It was only down to a pair of well placed, sewn-on flowers that her chest wasn’t fully visible.
The Scouse star is usually seen as the band’s more shy and retiring member, or at least the one least likely to wear a shocking outfit.
In this case however Nicola stole the limelight from her bandmate Kimberley Walsh, who opted for a unsurprising bright orange number.
The girls joined Sir Phillip Green, football WAG Carly Zucker and Sophie Anderton at the gala which was held at the Natural History Museum.

21st September: 30 Days Of Fashion & Beauty Gala
As we informed you over the weekend and on twitter, Nicola Roberts attended the 30 Days Of Fashion & Beauty Gala Party tonight with band mate Kimberley Walsh. Kimberley is a part of Lorenzo Agius’ exhibition, which features an exclusive photo of Kimberley to raise money for Breast Cancer Care.
