What was so important that Nicola Roberts needed to text her friends as she sat in the front row at Paris Fashion Week?

The Girls Aloud star’s unsmiling face was giving nothing away, but perhaps she was gloating ‘I’m sitting next to Rihanna!’

The pair’s music may be very different, but they obviously share a passion for fashion, sitting side by side at yesterday’s Christian Dior show.

Despite this they didn’t seem to have much to chat about, with little conversation between the two.
