Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has landed her own TV show where she will explore how far people will go to get a tan.

The pale singer, 24, who admits to being a ‘tanorexic’ in the past, will discover the dangers folk face by wanting to be orange – as shown in this picture.

She said: “I tried to cover up my insecurities by turning into a big-time tanorexic. I had every product from every range. I needed my fix.”

The show will air on BBC3 this spring.
