Nicola Roberts calls at No. 10

No, it’s not a change of power at Downing Street… but simply Denise Van Outen and Nicola Roberts bringing a touch of glamour to No.10 last night.

While many might think the stylish duo would do just as good a job there as the professional politicians, they were turning out for a reception hosted by Health Secretary Andy Burnham.

Girls Aloud star Nicola, who is supporting a bid to ban under-18s from tanning salons, rather appropriately put her gorgeous alabaster skin on show in a black and white mini dress and tuxedo jacket.

The 24-year-old is riding high after the Sunbeds (Regulation) Bill was backed by MPs last week.

Nicola, who has worked hard to raise awareness about the dangers of tanning salons, told Heat magazine this week: ‘I am so happy that the sunbed bill was passed last week in the House of Commons.

‘The bill is now being taken for a reading at the House of Lords, so your support is still very much needed.

‘Please keep on at your local MP about supporting the bill: the more persistent and supportive you are, the more they have to listen and do their part.

‘Thank you to everyone. Lets hope we can make a difference.’
