As the world and its granny goes batty for the Twilight saga, Girls Alouder Nicola Roberts jumps on the goth wagon.

Nicola Roberts is releasing a “vampire” make-up range for pale skin.

Making the most of her break from the band the flame-haired English rose, 25, is finally cashing in on her powdery white pallor and adding the Twilight effect to her range of beauty products.

After years of feeling like the odd one out in the band – the only porcelain white face in that sea of girly perma-tans – the sultry singer can now glow brighter than white with pride.

Because it’s no longer about bronzing up – it’s all about vamping it up. Due to the mammoth success of New Moon and slightly more porntastic True Blood, vampires are in. The result is that all the celebs worth their salt have been flaunting deathly pale complexions.

“For years I felt like the ugly one in Girls Aloud,” says Nicola. “I was tall, skinny, with red hair and the whitest skin you’ve ever seen – standing next to four of the most gorgeous girls in Britain. Hopefully I can help a lot of girls out there to look their best.”

A Nicola fan, Anthony, met Nicola this weekend whilst staying in London and asked her a question we all want to know, when will her Dainty Doll makeup range be relaunched?

Well we have the answer! Nicola answered Anthony and has revealed it will be relaunched in March 2010, with a possible signing!!

Sarah Harding isn’t the only member of Girls Aloud going back to school.

As the St Trinians star slips on a uniform for the movie sequel, bandmate Nicola Roberts is also ready to be a student again.

She’s sharpening her pencils and packing a lunch box before heading off to college to brush up on her beauty skills.

Nic plans to launch a new range of Dainty Dolly cosmetics next year. And she’s told pals she wants to do her homework before putting them in the shops.

Nicola is looking into college courses to swot up on how to create the products and the effects they have on the skin.

A pal told us: “Nicola is serious about her beauty range and doesn’t want to put her name to anything she’s not 100% sure of.

She wants to know the ins and outs of everything, which is why she’s looking into doing a course.

“The range started off as a bit of fun for the TV show Passions of Girls Aloud.

“But now she’s focused on making Dainty Dolly work and, if that means going back to school to learn about the business, then she’s prepared to do it.”
