She started the day off by tweeting from @CPWTweets (see below for the transcript) for 800 minutes – over 13hrs! She met competition winners, went shopping with one of them, did press interviews, ate lunch and then performed for a few lucky competition winners and press at the Oxford Street branch of Carphone Warehouse. Nicola sang 4 songs: Lucky Day, i, Everybody Gotta Learn and Yo Yo. She then insisted on meeting every competition winner personally!! See above for new candids and performance pictures from the day. She wore a LBD (Little Black Dress) complete with a ruffled bust and gold chocker. I’ve added nearly 100 pictures in the gallery, so go take a look at gorgeous Nicola! [GALLERY] Nicola attends Kimberley’s 30th birthday party 19/11/11 Nicola went along to Kimberley’s 30th Birthday party last night, held at Westbury Hotel in London. The above pic, is a pic Nicola tweeted on Twitter last night. Cheryl, Sarah and Nadine were not at the venue, but Nicola and Kimberley looked like they made up for it by partying hard! GALLERY: Nicola attends the Diana Award Anti-Bullying Conference 14th November: Diana Award National Anti-Bullying Conference Click picture to see more in our gallery Nicola debuted her blonder hair last night as she attended the Diana Award National Anti-Bullying Conference. She tweeted about it yesterday morning, and told fans she was meeting with Education Secretary Michael Gove to discuss how the Government can tackle online bullying. She said at the conference: ‘I want to meet Michael Gove and find out what networks and support systems are in place. Speaking out about bullying is seen as not a cool thing to do but that mentality needs to change.’ New research showed 38 per cent of young people are affected by cyber-bullying, with 78 per cent expecting it to get worse. We hope the meeting went well, and so proud Nicola is taking a stand on this serious issue. Yo-Yo announced as Nicola’s third single, here’s the cover!
Here is the artwork for Nicola’s third single ‘Yo-Yo’! Speaking about the track, Nic explained: “The song is about being in that position with a guy when you really don’t know whether you’re coming or going.” “Being in that position can make you really vulnerable. It’s the dark, desperate and doubtful side of love.” The CD single, due for release on 2 January, will feature a live rendition of the track, as well as a demo version of Sticks + Stones.
