Nicola designs her very own Renault Twingo!
Nicola is a VERY lucky girl. She got to design an interior for a car!
To support the market launch of New Twingo, Renault is creating a unique and entertaining artistic experience
Four artists with “twinguesque” genes express their view of the world: joyous, optimistic, clever and bold, just like the compact city car. Renault is giving the main artistic disciplines – fashion, music, design, cooking – an opportunity to express themselves in a bright and original environment: by making over the interior of New Twingo.
Other designers include French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a man of multiple talents, Italian chef Davide Scabin renowned for his creative cooking, and pragmatic German designer, Nils Holger Moormann, who finds new uses for everyday objects.

Nicola Roberts: ‘I’m adjusting to performing without Girls Aloud’
Nicola Roberts has said that she is still adjusting to performing as a solo artist.
The 26-year-old launched her solo career earlier this year with the release of her album Cinderella’s Eyes.
Speaking at an intimate gig for Carphone Warehouse last night, Roberts said that she still gets nervous singing without her four bandmates, but admitted that she would like to tour.
“I mean if the opportunity was there, I’d love to – I’d definitely love to,” she said. “I do get nervous, I’m not going to lie. I get a lot more nervous on my own than when I was with the band. I am adjusting to it – but it’s very different.
“Sort of being in the studio, writing, recording is also very different to being on your own having to perform the song. It’s two totally different elements. Someone said something really interesting to me the other day; what happens to me, because I wrote it, is that I have a tendency to go into myself and it’s like self-indulgent. But I’m not recording it, I’m performing it – I have to learn to do that just as well.”
Despite the album peaking at number 17 in the UK charts, Roberts admitted that she does view chart success as being equally important as the “unexpected” positive reviews her collection achieved.
“I do follow the charts. I appreciate that I’ve made a record that’s not necessarily what’s in the charts, and I wanted to do that – that’s the record that I wanted to make,” she explained. “I wanted to be able to look back on it and not doing something for any other reason, other than that it was the record that I wanted to make.
“I’ve been given an opportunity to write, and to be in control of it 100%. That is amazing. That’s been the most amazing part and I have that forever – whether or not I make a second record, whatever happens, I have something which I am genuinely proud of.”
Roberts releases third single ‘Yo-Yo’ early next year.
Carphone Warehouse signs Nicola Roberts to promote Nokia Lumia 800
Carphone Warehouse has signed Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts to promote the Nokia Lumia 800 handset on its social media channels on Wednesday (23 November).
Roberts will spend 800 minutes taking over Carphone Warehouse’s Twitter and Facebook page, publically sharing her entire day, from her whereabouts to her outfits.
Fans will be able to follow her in everything she does from being in studio, to doing media interviews and completing various 800 second challenges using the new Nokia Lumia 800 to upload photos and videos, while tweeting and posting messages.
She will also be sharing exclusive content from her latest video shoot, giving fans a sneak peek behind the scenes of her next single release.
At the end of Nicola’s 800 minutes, Roberts will perform a special secret in-store gig held exclusively for competition winners who’ll have the chance to meet the Girls Aloud star and hear hits from her solo album.
Competitions will be running in press and on Carphone’s Facebook and Twitter pages ahead of 23 November.
Roberts said: ‘Dedicating 800 minutes of my time to celebrate the launch of the new Nokia Lumia 800 is going to be such a fun challenge. On the day I’ll be sharing my every move and interacting with fans on Facebook and Twitter. I’m looking forward to seeing how much I can fit in!’
Graham Stapleton, CCO for Best Buy Europe, added: ‘We are very excited to be working with Nicola to launch this great phone. The Lumia 800 marks the start of new partnership between two of the biggest technology companies in the world – Microsoft and Nokia, and we have every confidence the handset will impress users with its speed, capabilities and design.’
Nicola denies accusing Madonna of copying her song
A few days ago, Cheryl Cole wrote a tweet to Nicola saying ‘@NicolaRoberts Imitation is the biggest form of flattery!‘ and Nicola replied with ‘@CherylCole Copy-catting has never flattered me..‘
This soon got the media and fans talking, that the conversation was about Madonna’s demo song (Give Me All Your Love), that got leaked on the same day, sounding like the corus of ‘Beat of my Drum’.
The day after, newspapers and media outlets ran stories that Nicola had openly acused Madonna of ‘copy-catting’.
So Nicola took to her twitter page yesterday to rant that she was mis-interpretated.
Some people are so quick to jump the gun..
Some people interpret things to suit them..
Some people, like me, haven’t even heard this leaked Madonna song..
Some people find it SO EASY to say such horrible nasty hurtful words so frivolously…
Personally, i dont think it sounds like ‘Beat of my Drum’!

Bid on Nicola’s dress for Alder Hey’s Imagine Appeal
Nicola has donated a yellow and white dress to Alder Hey’s Imagine Appeal, and they are currently auctioning it off on Ebay.
“I’m donating this yellow and white dress to the Clothes Throw from my own wardrobe which I wore onstage at a radio Echo gig. And I loved wearing it. I hope it finds a good home in the auction for this amazing cause! Everyone can help by finding something in their wardrobe they no longer wear and donate it.”
The bid is currently at £200 and from posting this, you have 6 days left to bid. This dress will be a great addition to any Nicola fans collection!
