Nicola landed back in London’s Heathrow airport today after a weekend with Cheryl Cole in Dublin. I’ve added 8 candids to the gallery, click the picture to see them!

The bond between the bandmates of Girls Aloud was clear for all to see this week. Instead of going ahead with her scheduled appearance at Wednesday’s NME awards, flame-haired Nicola Roberts spent the evening with newly-separated Cheryl Cole.

Nicola was spotted leaving Cheryl’s Surrey home – where the X Factor judge has been since returning from LA on Tuesday – in the early hours of the morning. Fellow bandmate Kimberly Walsh is also said to have rushed to be with Cheryl at her mansion.

“They are the first friends who have been allowed past the gates,” a source tells the Daily Mirror. “Cheryl values their friendship and wanted to see them for a heart-to-heart. They have always been there for each other and have provided a shoulder to cry on when needed. Cheryl just wanted a girls’ night in with people she trusts.”

A spokesperson for the band said the girls are supporting their pal in private but will not be making an official statement.

As we informed you on Twitter earlier, Nicola attended this years BRIT Awards, along with Kimberley and Cheryl. Unfortunately, Girls Aloud didnt win their award for Best Performance From the Last 30 Years (Spice Girls did!!) and Cheryl missed out on the Best Single award to JLS.

Here are the latest candids from the past week. First Nicola was seen arriving at her hotel, then she was seen leaving the Royal Albert Hall after watching Cheryl perform. They later headed to the Mayfair bar that night with Charlie and Ashley. The next day she was seen leaving the Mayfair hotel.

Cheryl Cole celebrated her 26th Birthday last night, with a party at Vanilla nightclub in London, and of course Nicola Roberts was there with her boyfriend Charlie.

Nicola arrived carrying a present for Cheryl. She was seen leaving Mayfair hotel en route to Vanilla club, in a green frilly dress.

Nicola was joined by bandmate Kimberley Walsh but Nadine and Sarah were not present at the party.
