She’s slowly but surely morphed into a fashionista since her humble beginnings with Girls Aloud.
And Nicola Roberts proved she can pull off a show-stopping look when she made an appearance at Vivienne Westwood’s Red Label catwalk show at London Fashion Week last night.
The 24-year-old singer wore a plunging black top held together with laces down the front and coordinating black skater-style skirt, which was held at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Miss Roberts accessorised her outfit with a pair of black shoes with gems across the toes and on the heels, together with a bright red heart-shaped Westwood handbag. She stole the limelight from other guests at the show, including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Pixie Lott, Jo Wood, Tracey Emin and Janet Jackson.
Miss Roberts also outshone Pixie Geldof, who was modelling for the label – taking her turn to strut down the catwalk in a variety of outfits. The singer was pictured sitting with T4 presenter and former model Jameela Jamil, who wore a peach dress with white polka dots with peach heels.

Move over, Cheryl, another Girls Aloud member has stolen your style crown and has been bagging front row seats at the hottest fashion shows.
2009 has seen the fash pack fall at Nic’s feet. Fellow flame-haired fashionista Vivienne Westwood personally invited her to her S/S Anglomania show, while edgy designers Preen, Issa and J Mendel queue up to dress her. Not bad for the singer who once branded herself “the ugly one” of the group.
Nicola now oozes confidence and after the year she’s had, it’s easy to understand why. Finding love with barman Charlie Fennell, buying a £2million mansion in Kent, rocking the nation on Girls Aloud’s 29-date Out Of Control tour and rumours that she’s landed her own BBC beauty show, all add up to a spectacular year for the pop princess.
